The latest Google Maps street-level imagery from George Street in Sydney is from 7 years ago before the street turned into a pedestrian mall and became car-free! The Google Street View car has not been able to drive on George Street since then. Images from Bing Maps, sourced from TomTom, have the very same limitation. Apple Maps seems to be among the very few map platforms, including ours, that have the most up-to-date imagery of George Street.

The car-centric bias in the street mapping industry is something that we'd like to challenge and change. Our passion is to make the world a more walkable place for all with better map data.
