Local governments in Australia spend on average at least $5,000 per km on footpaths including all capital, maintenance, and operations expenses. The common footpath inspection practice by local governments is to inspect 20% of the entire footpath network every year. So, over a 5-year period, the full footpath network is inspected at least once to identify hazards and defects that require repair. Generally, councils are responsible for the maintenance and repair of the footpath defects within the curb crossover and footpaths such as gradient defects or hazards while property owners are often responsible for the footpath defects that occur on the driveway.
We are excited to introduce "360° Vision" which offers local governments complete visibility of the footpath network, assets, and their conditions while reducing both the time and cost associated with regular footpath audits, inspections, and condition assessments. Local governments can now enjoy complete, high-resolution, and annually updated views of their footpath assets from the convenience of the office without the need to regularly send staff on-site.
Our "360° Vision" annual subscription plan offers local governments:
✔ Unlimited access to 360° high-resolution footpath view imagery (approximately 200 images per km)
✔ Citizen privacy protection with face and license plate blurring
✔ Unlimited imagery download/export
✔ Once-a-year update of footpath view imagery
✔ Single-user account
