Excited to share that our submission, "Bridging the Data Gap: AI-powered Insights for Active Transport," has been named a Finalist in the Excellence in Transport Data Award category for the 14th Annual ITS Australia Awards!
Over the past two years, we've worked closely with the Active Transport Data & Analytics team at Transport for NSW on developing a large-scale walking and cycling volume estimation model. Initially built for the Sydney metropolitan area, it was later extended to the entire NSW Six Cities Region. We may be able to claim this as the world's largest model of its kind in terms of resolution and scale, with nearly 115,000 links for the cycling model and 190,000 links for the walking model.
