2022 was an exciting year for the team at footpath.ai with many achievements and success stories. Here we select our top 10 most exciting moments in the past year and share them with you.

1️⃣ We've grown from a team of two at the beginning of the year to a team of seven at the end of 2022. Top row from left to right: Tanapon is the co-founder and CTO. Meead is the co-founder and CEO. 2️⃣ We have grown our sidewalk view imagery dataset significantly. We now have coverage in 10 cities across 7 countries including Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane in Australia, San Francisco in the U.S., London in the U.K. Seoul in Korea, Manila in the Philippines, Bangkok in Thailand, and Santiago de Chile.👇

4️⃣ We were selected as a winner of the NSW government City Revitalisation Innovation Challenge 2 and landed on a contract with the state government to trial our DeepWalk technology to map out 40 km of sidewalks in Sydney.

6️⃣ We were selected as a finalist in the "Research Impact" category at the UNSW Founders Award Ceremony. 👇

7️⃣ We were selected as a finalist to pitch at the Impact X SHIFT! challenge. 👇

8️⃣ We have publicly released a demo video of our DeepWalk technology for 360-degree scene understanding on sidewalks.👇

9️⃣ We presented our automated sidewalk mapping process with AI and computer vision using 360-degree sidewalk view images at the Pista ng Mapa 2002 (State of the Map Asia 2022). Pista ng Mapa (Festival of Maps) is the pioneer and open conference in the Philippines made for and by people who have a passion for open mapping, open data, and open source.👇

🔟 We released the "sidewalk shade" data layer to further assist governments with their urban climate change adaptation policies.👇
