At footpath.ai, we are developing technologies for high-definition (HD) mapping of sidewalk networks. Our vision is to make the world a more walkable place for humans and a more navigable place for robots.
We are building a large-scale and global dataset that contains high-resolution 360° sidewalk-level images with fine-grained semantic segmentation that enables detailed urban feature extraction with a focus on walkability and automated delivery robots' perception and localization.
We are developing AI-powered computational models to generate HD maps of sidewalk networks with multi-attributes containing significantly more detailed information than those found in conventional maps including hourly pedestrian traffic estimates as well as physical and environmental factors.
